A person was shot and wounded at a Long Island Rail Road station on Friday morning, Oct. 9, police said.
Investigators said the person was boarding an eastbound train at Bellport station around 2:25 a.m., News 12 Long Island reported.
Authorities believe a group of people exited the train, then one turned and fired a bullet, which struck the victim in the shoulder, according to News 12. No suspects have been arrested in the case.
